Tinnitus and vestibular consultations

Due to full capacity, we are currently not accepting new patients at the tinnitus and vertigo clinic; however, you can schedule an appointment for the examinations listed below.

What exactly do we do in the Tinnitus and Vestibular Clinic?

• Tonal and verbal audiometry (examination of hearing thresholds, decibel loss detection, analysis of ear murmurs)
• Tympanometry (measurement of eardrum compliance, detection of pathological effusion in the middle ear)
• BERA examination (objective hearing measurement using evoked potentials)
• Investigation of vertigo (TETRAX), treatment of benign positional vertigo (BPPV).
• Video oculography (a method used to record horizontal and vertical eye movements using an infrared camera that tracks the pupil of the eye)
• Positioning manoeuvres

We also offer examinations at the Kartouzská branch, where we performs the examinations mentioned below:
