What exactly do we do in the Tinnitus and Vestibular Clinic?

• Tonal and verbal audiometry (examination of hearing thresholds, decibel loss detection, analysis of ear murmurs)
• Tympanometry (measurement of eardrum compliance, detection of pathological effusion in the middle ear)
• BERA examination (objective hearing measurement using evoked potentials)
• Investigation of vertigo (TETRAX), treatment of benign positional vertigo (BPPV).
• Video oculography (a method used to record horizontal and vertical eye movements using an infrared camera that tracks the pupil of the eye)
• Positioning manoeuvres
  
  Tinnitus and vestibular consultation can be found at our branches in Budějovická and Modřany. Here we provide all the above services. The examination takes 45-90 minutes depending on the scope of the examination.
